Popped back to Blighty last weekend to see four stout men/chums/suspects/rock gods – namely SMAC (Sad Middle Aged C***s) – gig in Bristol at the Polish War Veterans Club. Oh yes, you heard right. SMAC at the BPWVC.
The four members of SMAC (as you might guess by the name) are all of the age where a pipe and slippers are not too distant a reality. Rather than slide gracefully into beige slacks and grey loafers, they've decided to give into public demand and gig.
And what a gig. 'Hit me baby one more time' went down a storm. Crip's snare gave way as did my already tenuous photographic skills, so here's about the best shot I managed to take of Dave and his Flying-V. Rock on . . .
